As well as being an open format mobile DJ, Simon is also an experienced specialist DJ who , under his alter-ego, Si Burtron, specialises in quality House, Balearic Beats, Nu-Disco and Indie Dance. From Technics SL1210's through CDJs and Digital DJing he has been there and done it at all sorts of events.

Up until recently Simon had a long running show on KISS FM AU called the Inner Rhythm Show. The show ran for over two years during which time the music played ranged from House, Tech House, Deep House to Balearic Beats and beyond.

Simon is also co-owner of two record labels and has released music in his own right. He is also part of a local DJ collective called The Beat Escape who have held successful parties in Cheshire and Warrington, raising money for local charities in the process. The Beat Escape are also involved in forthcoming events created by Tiny Steps Charity such as the forthcoming event at The Plaza, Northwich.
